Been in training camp in Arizona for a week now. We have been running our asses off and we are all a bit tired, but no pain no gain.
Started thinking about the five best football stadiums I ever played at and came up with my personal “top 5″ list that I wanted to share with you.
Freddie,
Thanks for bringing such a high level of play to the Pacific Northwest! You have been a mentor to so many Sounders, young and older alike. Please stay in Seattle!
Hi Freddie,
This is great news! I just hope you wont be leaving Seattle.. We all love your passion, knowledge and enthusiasm, which you have brought not only to Seattle but to the MLS.
Fantastic column, Freddie. Look forward to reading more.
Thanks for the coming to the autograph session yesterday – it was great meeting you and Kasey!
Good luck with the new gig Freddie
We love you in Seattle Freddie. We also love that you are trying to bring intelligent and beautiful play to the US. I hope you have a chance to play here for as long as you like
Freddie- Great article! I met you yesterday at the Home Depot. You signed my wife’s cell phone and I asked if this was truly your site. I’m so glad you decided to take a chance on coming to Seattle, you have been the MVP on the Sounders for sure this year and are success this season is based hugely on you. Keep up the good work and good luck in the rest of the season and bring us home the MLS Cup!
It’s great to hear you say such nice things about Washington. Seattle loves you Freddie. I can only hope you’ll stay around for a long time. It was great to meet you at Home Depot last night. You were very sweet, and I’m sorry for the deer in headlights look that I probably had on my face. It was just so great to meet you and Keller. Your both ledgends, and it was an honor. Good luck Saturday!
Great first column, your perspective on the league is great. I look forward to watching the Sounders go far in the playoffs (hopefully playing for the championship at home).
Good luck.
Good news! You’ve always made intelligent observations based upon knowledge and experience, looking forward to following them in your column. I also see this as a small step towards coaching HBK and later Sweden…
Freddie,
I’m an avid reader of Arseblog and living in Boston. I assume you remember Arseblog “Its f*ckin excellent”
Anyway, good to see you on this side of the point and I’ll be glad to see and hear you on games.
With all of the plugs for the big money teams it will be nice to hopefully hear you big up the Gunners and the style of play and ethics.
Now put yourself back at Highbury and on the count of 1, 2, 3.
We love you Freddie cause you’ve got red hair. We love you Freddie cause you’re everywhere.”
Peace.
Hey thanks for coming to Seattle it has been a dream year. I would like to also thank you for the hard work you have put in and everyone can tell winning is the only thing on your mind. Thanks for standing up for USA soccer and pointing out when it is not played right with bad tackles. The game is to out of control and needs to be tightened up before we get big time talent. Thanks again and win us a title, ok?
ps Sign a long term deal with Seattle, just retire here.
