The game against Dallas tomorrow is the last game of the regular season, and we have already secured our Playoff spot.

But it is a bit of an awkward situation as it is easy to start thinking, “I don’t want to get injured because then I might miss the quarterfinal and Playoffs” and therefore not go in for the heavy tackles and not play with 100 percent effort, so if anyone has these kind of thoughts it’s important to get them out of their heads.

This is always mentally a difficult scenario for a team in our position especially when the League looks like this, with the team ahead of us on 46 points and Sounders on 45, and 2nd placed team plays against the 3rd placed team, which makes tomorrows game very important as we suddenly could become winner of the Conference and secure one more great win for the Sounders!

Its going to be a great day and I’ve heard that a lot of special things will be going on as it is the last regular game of the season.

    Hej Fredrik!

Freddie I just read your piece for ESPN and I want to thank you. Sometimes people complain that Seattle is boring or that it rains all the time etc..
It is nice you recognize how great of a city it is. The city of Seattle needed a team like the Sounders to go big. So let’s win tonight! and maybe just maybe…we will lift the Cup

Amen, Freddie! No thoughts of ‘taking it easy’ today. Sounders supporters are going to give everything today, and I’m sure the team will do the same. I am very excited about the game and festivities today. See you on the pitch. On to victory!!

    Up the Sounders!!

Freddie great article, “Enjoying life in Seattle.” I am glad things are going well for you. I was one of the first lucky fans for our inaugural season. Coach Schmid was walking by FX and I asked him for his autograph. Didn’t have a pen, so I ran up to my office and grabbed my Sounders clock and a Sharpie. It was actually St. Patty’s day so it was tough to find him, with John Curley’s hoopla going on. One of the Sounders guy took the clock back to your private meeting. 15 guys, including you, and Sigi signed that day. This is another reason why Seattle loves our Sounders. Have a great game. I will have my Arsenal scarf in the middle of the west side. From Gary one of the 32,000 today.

Freddie great game – 2 assists and tons of ops – great piece on Seattle – I saw you play in Athens – Champions League 2003 1-0 loss to Panathinaikos – very physical game, crazy atmosphere and now Im proud to say to my Greek friends you are a Sounder and Im showing them that Seattle is the best example of what US Soccer can be. They are reading about you there and are very impressed. Keep it up and thx for signing my kids shirts at Home Depot – Very classy – Thank you!!!

Great game Freddie! Sounders play some of the prettiest games in MLS and that’s why there’s so many fans across the country rooting for the sounders! I’m in Atlanta myself, and I’ve met other fans online from Arizona to Montana, and California to Louisiana! I hope you stay and continue to help make this league better! First-rate players like you will be recognized for years to come as one of the pioneers who made our league one of the best!!!

Great game Freddie. The team seems to be coming around to form late in the season. Your last 4 games have been great… best of the year.
