   Agreed Freddie! Having the world cup in Seattle would not only advance the sport in Seattle, but in American’s minds. The city is so ready for an event like this, and with years to plan, it would be one of the biggest celebrations of international culture seen in a world cup! You should plan to be in Seattle in some capacity in 2018!

   Thanks Freddie! You’re quest for global recognition of MLS and football in general in the U.S. is admiriable. Your footsteps could lead the way for very big things indeed. And by 2018, with Portland and Vancouver well into the mix of a very heated and passionate rivalry, the world will know that football lives and thrives in America.

   But first things first. Sack ‘em in Houston. Go Sounders!!!

   All I have to say is thank you for the incredible season. It was hard to see it end, but Seattle is with you guys. “Go team”- (my three year old little fan adds).

   That’s awesome Freddie. The US would love to host the World Cup again. It was such a boost for soccer here in 1994. Do like Freddie says and sign the petition if you haven’t already on GoUSAbid.com. Send your friends the link too. Seattle would be an incredible place to host World Cup matches.

   Hi Freddie
   I thought this may be a good way to try and connect with you and some of your supporters.
   I have seen you are supporting the World Cup bid in 2018 for the USA. I am based in South Africa looking forward to this year’s World Cup.
   I think it is important to ensure the bid has a focus on legacy.
   My organisation Africaid runs an HIV prevention programme called Whizzkids United (www.whizzkidsunited.org), football really does have the power to facilitate change, so good luck!

    Do you still want the world cup here? Again, super sad you’re not a Sounder anymore. Just please don’t play on another MLS team. I wouldn’t want to split my loyalties.
