Been in my old hometown London a few days now. Great to be back, seeing old friends. Saturday at Emirates were quite special. First time I have been back since I left for MLS. It was amazing to see the fans welcoming when I met them right before the game. Guarantee you that it felt deep into my heart to get that kind of reception.
Gunners won the game which made me go back to my hotel with a big smile on my face.

the reason you got such a good reception is because you always gave 100% for the club and scored big goals in big matches, unlike some of the players who play for Arsenal today you had bottle and that is why you are still so loved, it was great to see you on Saturday at a stadium that you helped to build!

Just guessing, but I bet you’d be willing to take him under your wing over here with the Sounders and toughen him up a bit. How about talking to Arsene and seeing if you can work a deal while your there

A general comment that I’ve been meaning to post… Jag har stått i kö vid ett flertal tillfällen för att få din autograf på min tröja, men aldrig kommit fram. De erbjöd att skicka ett signerat fotografi, men jag sa nej. För vad jag önskade mig mer än något annat var att få skaka din hand, titta dig i ögonen och säga Tack. Tack för att du valde Seattle och att lyfta MLS till en annan nivå genom din närvaro–med din skicklighet och talang, intelligens och karaktär på och utanför planen. Min önskan är att du stannar i flera år, men när du beslutar dig för att att sluta, snälla kom då ihåg att du är en del av oss nu–du är inte nu längre bara Arsenal grabben eller fotbollsspelaren i Svenska landslaget som jag hejade på i så många år på avstånd.
Jag är i 30 års åldern och fotboll har varit min favoritsport sen jag var en liten flicka– min familj är från Brasilien,Spanien, Portugal,Italien,Frankrike, England,Tyskland, Sverige så hur kan det vara på annat sätt?! Att titta på fotboll som spelas på hög nivå är vackert och tar andan ur mig, och att se dig spela från tionde raden på Qwest Field i nio månader har varit ett sant nöje.
