For the first time in ten years, I’m in the Swedish mountains with my family to celebrate a proper white Christmas. It is very white but a bit cold. Yesterday, It was -18 degrees Celsius when I took the dog for a walk. But it’s great being with my family and I hope that everyone else is having an amazing Christmas.

And remember, be extra generous and show a lot of kindness to each other during Christmas. If there is anything you can do to help less fortunate people regardless what it is or how small. Please do.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Have you taken your board up for some good powder boarding while at home? I have wanted to ski Sweeden since I was a kid watching Ingemar Stenmark.

Caught a rather disparaging article via Soccer America>INSIDE SOCCER SI.com – Jan 5, 2010 … since men like Juan Pablo Ángel, Luciano Emilio and Freddie Ljungberg have had no perceptible impact on attendance but have certainly helped their teams … I found this quote most alarming for several reasons. My family is of Swedish descent and in Washington this is quite the norm so we feel especially priveledged and honored to have you as our DP . Furthermore as a DP you have certainly pulled your weight in filling seats at qwest.
I went to school with Kasey and while it is
wonderful to see him do well, the Sounders
( and other MLS teams) would not be the same
without you and the skills the other DP’s bring to
    the game.
Any comments on this issue, the MLS draft or the possibility of a lockout and the issues facing Sounders FC would be wonderful.
