I know Hasse Backe very well. He has great knowledge about the game. He was one of the 3 people I wanted to become swedish coach, when the job was up for grabs this year. If he can adapt to transfer and budget differences then he will be a great success. He is a top draw manager.

I purposely haven’t written much lately since I have been travelling and not been carrying my Macbook, I also wanted to forget about the world for a little bit… I will get back to you guys soon. To give you a clue, I have been just 3 feet away from a male lion…

I hope you’re having fun in your travels Freddie! Take care, it sounds like you are on safari? I hope so, because I can’t imagine anything more fun than that!

It’s great to hear that you are taking time to take care of you, it is important to focus on yourself and your health. I think a safari is a wonderful way to have a break from reality, so maybe you are in South Africa or I think with your family/friends at a zoo in Sweden. either way, I wish you well. I just purchase my season tickets and I am all ready for the 2010 Sounders season, I’m really excited. Take care Freddie and have an amazing vacation from the world.

I hope that all the moves will help loosen some of the purse strings to allow a true strengthening of our side for the second season. I think if there are enough teams bringing in international staff and players of high quality, the pressure will be there to make the mls a league of greater value. We need to be able to attract more talent like you. Very glad that you came to Seattle. It was great for us and I think that it came out well for you too. Enjoy what is left our you off time and looking forward to seeing you in the Emerald City. Go Sounders.

Sounds like you’re either on safari, or playin it safe and at the MGM Grand in Vegas! Only way i’d get that close to a lion is with a thick pane of glass between us haha

Good to hear from you again, and to read that you’ve had some time to relax. Personally, I’m loking forward to see you shine on the pitch again ;) .

Stay safe where ever you are

  10. Bej on January 11, 2010 1:49 am

Ah, so you´ve been visiting the Safari park in Kolmården in Sweden. Hope the lion didn´t scratch your car. :)
Would be interesting to know who the other two of your candidates for swedish coach were.

    Tja Freddie!
Skulle vilja fråga dig om du kunde hjälpa mig med en grej.
Behöver kontakt med just Hasse Backe.

    Greetings from Germany…
You are so lucky, I’d rather be travelling and seeing the world than getting stuck in the snow all the time… lol
Happy new year by the way, hope it’s a good one…

    I LOVE lions by the way… ;o)

What a great catch Hasse Backe is. Having solid coaches in the league can only further the development of players and teams. I hear you about wanting to get away from things sometime. Since we are always so in touch with technology these days, it makes it difficult sometimes. I wonder if you are at a zoo or perhaps a safari. Anyways, enjoy your travels and your away time!

Hello Mr Pardus. I am so glad to hear that you are finally doing all the traveling you wanted to do such as Christmas in Sweden, snowboarding and Safari excursions. Enjoy the rest of the holidays and re-charge for the new season. I don’t want to to read any articles with the work “skadad” in it ;-)

Is it true you are in talks with Livorno? That’s crap if you leave, you said you’d be here for two years. If you do leave, good luck becks.
