After calming down the feelings. Here comes a reflextion from the game.

Extremely disappointing to draw against the defending champions away when we were 2-1 up and  they score the equalizer in the 94th minute. Think they are the best team in the league to keep the ball and that is something we have to look at and work on. It is inspiring to see how well they play football and something that I admire them for. We had some more chances in the 2nd half on counter attacks but unfortunately we couldn’t make them count. When you play the defending champions away from home you know it’s gonna be a hard game. We lost there last year and struggled. In this game we put out a team for counter attacking. Think we did that well but unfortunately the win slipped threw our hands in the last second.

On a personal note 2nd half felt great. Got the ball to go at the defenders a bit. Felt great we scored from a free kick as well. There was a lot of Sounders fans in the stands which was great to see. The stadium was packed so it was a great atmosphere on the whole.

Freddie, watching that free kick from the stands of Rio Tinto was amazing. Looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the boys on Saturday!

Freddie- that is such a sad intro, if I were on the team after saturday evening’s match I suppose I would have many feelings to try to supress to not explode in the locker room!
Sorry I missed you at the interview this morning, hope you felt the love from the audience ;]

Tough luck on the result Freddie. I traveled down to watch the team; the away fans couldn’t believe it either. Fantastic free kick – I can’t remember a better one for the Sounders. I’ll trade those 2 points for a big win and great performance on Saturday.

My brother and I watched the game on TV. We screamed our lungs out at the 94th minute. It’s difficult for the team that was leading, but a relief for the team that was behind… although a draw is a draw. A great performance nonetheless!

I was GUTTED when we lost the two points! Ah well, that’s football for ya. It must have been thrilling for the home team though, because we played better football.

The next game won’t be easy either. Kansas city have been on a roll and they’ve signed Ryan Smith, a 23 year old Englishman with some neat skills! I have a feeling it will be a very exciting game.

I’m sure you’ll be able to get over this disappointment and go for a win on Saturday, there must be a huge amount of frustration that the Sounders can turn into something good. Let your fighting spirit get into the team!

I stayed up real late to watch the game after I got home from work. 1st half was so good I had to watch the 2nd half before bed. We all feel the same way about the 94th minute….but, hey, wasn’t that YOUR goal off of the free kick?? I watched it a few times and it really looked like it was untouched.
Loved seeing you take a few runs with Alonso – would love to see some more from the two of you.
Hope you have a great birthday and score a couple goals for us vs. KC! Great effort vs SLC.

Freddie – Great work out there with the team! You were looking stronger and had greater mobility that on 4/10. We are all happy that your injury is behind you when we went against RSL. It is a big “ouch” to have the win slip away in the last seconds, but each game has its own learning. I am looking forward to the game on Saturday.

Just saw the Dallas game & if you thought the draw against RSL was lame how sick was today’s match, huh?
It was shitty that you kept getting pushed (& NO foul was called). On top of it the last minute PK was pure rubbish. Freddie I know you are too cool a guy to kick the refs ass but really someone should have. He was a load of carp & I am so pissed off w/the level of refs in MLS.
I admire that you are trying so hard this 2nd season to not get into the refs face. It has to be tough man as they are so DUMB.
Love you Freddie & I have to end by saying, you are so fine looking :)

I am a huge fan, I am so lucky & happy that you will be here in Toronto, I get a chance to see you play this Sunday! Yeahhhh~
Hope you guys have a great season!!
    Cheers
